Reception Marks Exhibit of Refugee Posters at RCC
free and open to the public

RAMAPO – The public is invited to see a special exhibit featuring the work of Art students at Rockland Community College. A reception for the exhibit of posters related to refugee crises around the world will take place Wednesday, December 6, on the RCC campus.

Students in Eileen MacAvery Kane’s ART 277 – Constructed Image class created posters focused on refugee situations in various countries, including Syria, Afghanistan, Myanmar and South Sudan. According to the United Nations, there are an estimated 11-12 million refugees in the world today.
