RCC to Host Conference on Early Childhood Education
childcare providers invited for a day of learning and laughter

 

RAMAPO – The value of humor in providing quality care and education to young children will be in the spotlight at a conference at Rockland Community College. RCC Teacher Education Programs will co-host the 43rd Annual Early Childhood and School Age Care Conference on Saturday, November 4.

Nonprofit agency Child Care Resources of Rockland (CCRR) is co-hosting the professional development event. The cost per person is just $15 including continental breakfast and lunch, thanks to sponsorship by Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski.

The main speaker at the conference is humorist and educator Paul McGhee, president of The Laughter Remedy. Dr. McGhee will speak on the how child care providers can use humor to positive effect in his keynote address. He will also lead breakout sessions on humor in education.
