RCC Students Perform in Dance Concert May 11

Rockland County, NY – All are welcome to a dance concert at Rockland Community College on Saturday, May 11. Performing Arts students will take the stage at the Cultural Arts Theater on the Suffern Campus at 7:00 pm to perform a variety of dance pieces in many different genres, including hip hop, contemporary, ballet and modern dance. Tickets are $5.00.

“The dance concert is a wonderful opportunity for the students to display their work, talent, creativity and passion for dance,” stated Melissa Padham-Maass,  
adjunct professor of Performing Arts and organizer of the event. The dance concert will feature work by Professor Padham-Maass, Alumnus, Ryan McNeill and student dance major, Francesca Pesce, along with many other student-choreographed works.

Students in the dance track of the performing arts major at RCC train in ballet, jazz, modern dance and dance improvisation, and perform throughout the semester. The dance concert is the final concert of the year.
