Run the Rock Fundraiser Supports Local Veterans
Takes place at Nyack Pour House March 31

 

RAMAPO – Support local veterans and enjoy a fun evening out at the Run the Rock Fundraiser on Friday, March 31. The charity dinner event is sponsored by the Nyack Pour House to raise money for veterans’ programs at Rockland Community College and the non-profit B.R.i.D.G.E.S. organization.

Tickets for the dinner are $40 per person in advance or $45 per person at the door. Advance purchases are preferred. Attendees will enjoy a finger-food style buffet. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages are also included.

This event is a prelude to the inaugural Run the Rock, a professionally-designed 5K obstacle course/fun run to be held Sunday, April 23 on the RCC campus. The run is open to anyone 14 years of age or older. The fee to take part in the run is $55 per person if you sign up before April 1, $65 per person thereafter.

Like the dinner event, the run is also a fundraiser for RCC Veterans Affairs and B.R.i.D.G.E.S.. To learn more about the Run the Rock, visit www.sunyrockland.edu/go/RunTheRock.
