Events Set for Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Paralegal and Honors Program

RAMAPO, N.Y. – Rockland Community College offers a variety of academic programs that put students on a path to success in high-demand careers. Three of those programs – Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Paralegal – are holding information sessions during March, as is RCC's nationally recognized Honors Program. All sessions allow prospective students to learn about programs of study, as well as meet faculty and staff. The events are free and open to the public.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Info Session

Monday, March 11
5 – 6:30 pm
Academic I, Room 1119

Learn about the application process for the OTA associate's degree program. The OTA curriculum, program information and application process will be discussed. Applications will be available for those who want to pursue a career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Honors Program Info Session

Hear from faculty mentors, alumni and current students enrolled in the nationally renowned Sam Draper Honors Program.  The session will feature an overview of the program, including its most recent transfer acceptance statistics. Students considering RCC's Early Admit program combined with Honors will also receive valuable information pertaining to that academic path.

Nursing Program Info Session

Get started toward a rewarding and meaningful career as a Registered Nurse (RN). Meet with faculty and staff and learn about requirements, tuition, financial aid, and classroom and clinical training. Learn the steps to the application process, what you need to do, and what to expect.

Paralegal Info Session

Speak with faculty and staff from the Paralegal program and get information about internships and job opportunities. Find out how you can earn as Associate of Applied Science degree or post-degree certificate in Paralegal Studies.
