Learn about the pathways and opportunities for success in career roles traditionally filled by people of the opposite gender at this Job Readiness Forum at RCC. Activities include a panel discussion with local professionals, a workshop for help with selecting a career, and information and resources from many local agencies. Rockland County Executive, C. Scott Vanderhoef and Dr. Cliff L. Wood, President of Rockland Community College, will also speak to the attendees.

 

This is the fourth in what has become a very popular series of public programs for local job-seekers, developed by RCC’s Career Services and co-sponsored by the Workforce Investment Board of Rockland County. Other participating agencies include Tomorrow’s Workplace, NYS Department of Labor, RCC’s continuing education division, Rockland BOCES, Rockland Veterans Service Agency, Rockland Department of Social Services, Rockland Office for the Aging, NYS ACCES-VR, and the NYS Small Business Development Center.

RCC’s Career Services offers workshops, career counseling and resume review, among a broad range of employment services for RCC students and alumni.
