Domestic Violence Awareness and “Walk With Me”
free and open to the public


Ramapo, NY –The annual “Walk With Me” silent march at Rockland Community College will be held on October 24. NY State Assemblywoman the Honorable Ellen Jaffee and representatives from the Center for Safety and Change (formerly the Rockland Family Shelter) will also participate in the event.

Noon – 1:30 pm

Services provided by the Center for Safety and Change include a 24 hour hotline, educational programs to stop dating and domestic violence, an emergency residential center, and assistance for crime victims. Their services are multilingual, culturally and LGBT sensitive, and available to all members of the community. Please visit their website at http://www.rocklandfamilyshelter.org to learn more.
