Ramapo- Expand your knowledge and develop a rewarding career in construction management. All are welcome to attend this free Information Session on Monday, August 14 at Rockland Community College.

Exciting new courses at RCC include Introduction to Sustainable Construction Management (CMT 101) this Fall, and (CMT 102) in the Spring. These gen-ed science courses earn academic credits and are open to anyone interested in construction management and sustainable design for our planet. RCC offers an AAS degree in Green Building Maintenance & Management.

Learn about courses that will prepare you for jobs in the growing field of project management and sustainable construction as construction managers, project managers, maintenance superintendents, office engineers, project engineers, solar and wind technicians, energy efficiency auditors and more.

Introduction to Sustainable Construction Management (CMT 101) – Fall 2017
Learn about using sustainable materials, practices, and methods, and how sustainable construction improves energy efficiency and reduces carbon dioxide emissions. Study Green Building industry rating systems (LEED and Living Building Institute) and review case studies from around the globe that illustrate current trends in green construction.

Light Construction (CMT 102) – Spring 2018
Introduction to construction methods emphasizing the unique aspects of light construction. Learn construction management principles related to material properties, building science, structural design, estimating and scheduling.
