Academic Standards Committee

Committee Charge: To deal with a broad range of concerns related to academic standards and quality, and the policies and conditions which help to bring these about and maintain them.

Inter-disciplinary Environmental Education Committee

Committee Charge:  1) To establish inter-disciplinary environmental education to provide an opportunity for all graduates to become environmentally literate and have the awareness and understanding to be ecologically responsible citizens. 2) To establish faculty development opportunities to develop the capability of college faculty to teach environmental literacy to all students. 3) To establish partnerships with primary and secondary schools to develop inter-disciplinary teaching about environmental issues. 4) To expand work with community and non-governmental organizations to find solutions to environmental problems.

Where two or more awards are available, it is not necessary that all selected candidates meet the criteria with equal excellence.
