Sustainability At RCC

The Campus Sustainability Committee is committed to sustainable use of natural resources at RCC. Among the programs are:
- Conservation of electricity - "Turn Off the Juice When Not in Use" program.
- Reduction of fossil fuels used for heating and air conditioning
- Recycling
- R.O.S.E. Reusable Office Supply Exchange
- "No Pesticide" policy for grounds maintenance
- Purchasing plan to buy sustainable products such as recycled paper and environmentally friendly cleaning products
- Decreased use of paper
- Composting cafeteria waste
- Maintenance of wildlife habitat
- Climate Action Plan
