Opening its doors in 2006, the Technology Center is located at the main entrance of the campus. This 100,000 sq. ft center is Rockland County's first certified "Green Building." The building was the first new permanent construction on campus in over twenty years. The first floor houses Admissions, the Bursar's Office, Records, and Financial Aid, allowing students a "One-Stop Shopping" experience during registration.
The Technology Center features 21 state-of-the-art classrooms, including a tiered lecture hall equipped with computer connection and computer laboratories increasing classroom capacity on campus by about 40%.
The Technology Center is also the home of the Student Development Center. Located on the 2nd floor, students can seek information and help with advisement, counseling, academic intervention, careers, internships and transfer. Other offices in the Technology Center include Accessibility Services, Placement and Assessment, Prevention Resource Center, Center for Academic Progress and Success (CAPS), Writing Center and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL).
The Technology Center is the home of the Nursing Department, Business and Professional/Public Service Division, Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences Division, and STEM and Health Sciences Division. It also houses the Multi-Media Production Center, home of RCC-TV and over 90 offices for faculty and staff.
