Library Media Center

Library Media Center Virtual Tour

Rockland Community College's Library Media Center supports the learning and research activities of its students and faculty by providing a broad array of information resources and services. The College Library has a collection of 125,000 volumes, over 3,000 audio-visual items, and over 13,000 serials including newspapers, journals and other periodicals in diverse formats. The Library exhibits artwork by students, faculty and members of the general community.

The lowest level of the Library building is home to a fully equipped television studio. Here, local cable stations broadcast programs, teleconferences are staged and the College's Communication Media Arts students gain hands-on production experience.

The Library also houses the College Bookstore and the Holocaust Museum and Center for Tolerance and Education. The Holocaust Museum's new exhibit space is expected to open in 2017.
