Academic Advisement and Financial Aid

The courses for which a student is registered have a direct effect on thier eligability for Financial Aid.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT:

  • Full Time Students recieving Financial Aid MUST register for at least 12 credits that are specifically required for their degree program.  
  • Part Time Students recieving Finanacial Aid MUST be enrolled in at least 6 credits that are specifically required for their degree.
  •   These courses cannot be: 
      • Repeat courses for which a student has previously received a passing grade
      • Courses outside of the students degree requirements
  • If a student wishes to retake a course for which they recieved passing grade and/or take courses that are outside of their degree program:
      • To be considered part time for financial aid, they must register for 6 additional credits required of their degree program.
      • To be considered full time for financial aid, they must register for 12 additional credits that are specifically required of their degree program.
