  • REQUIRED TEXT:  Myers, David G. Exploring Psychology in Modules 7th Edition

  • EXPECTATIONS: 
    • Much of the material to be learned will be covered in the classroom.  Because of this, it is often difficult to make up work. More than 3 absences will lower your final grade.  More than 6 absences will result in a final grade of F.

  • TESTS/QUIZZES:
    • There will be THREE quizzes and ONE final examTogether, these total 60% of your final gradeIf you miss a quiz, you MUST make it up in the Testing Center BEFORE the next quiz.

  • FINAL GRADE:
    • The final grade for this course will be computed as follows:


Attendance 10%
Tests/Quizzes 60%
Class Participation 30%
   
Total 100%


  • SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
    • Students may request an incomplete grade due to extenuating circumstances.  Incomplete grades will be granted on a case by case basis.  Students granted an incomplete must complete all coursework within a 12 week period or the final grade will be changed to an F.

  • ACADEMIC DISHONESTY:
    • Students caught cheating in any way, shape, or form will automatically fail the course and will be disciplined according to College Policy
