- EXPECTATIONS:
-
Much of the material to be learned will be covered in the classroom. Because of this, it is often difficult to make up work. More than 3 absences will lower your final grade. More than 6 absences will result in a final grade of F.
- TESTS/QUIZZES:
- There will be THREE quizzes and ONE final exam. Together, these total 60% of your final grade. If you miss a quiz, you MUST make it up in the Testing Center BEFORE the next quiz.
- FINAL GRADE:
- The final grade for this course will be computed as follows:
| Attendance | 10% |
| Tests/Quizzes | 60% |
| Class Participation | 30% |
| Total | 100% |
- SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
- Students may request an incomplete grade due to extenuating circumstances. Incomplete grades will be granted on a case by case basis. Students granted an incomplete must complete all coursework within a 12 week period or the final grade will be changed to an F.
- If a student has a learning or physical disability that requires special accommodations, please contact the Office of Disability Services at (845) 574-4541
- ACADEMIC DISHONESTY:
- Students caught cheating in any way, shape, or form will automatically fail the course and will be disciplined according to College Policy
